How To Replace Your Manual Transmission Fluid – Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018)
How Often Should I Replace My Transfer Case Fluid?
Jeep recommends changing the manual transmission fluid every 30,000 miles in your Jeep Wrangler JK. If you’re not doing any towing, plowing or driving in hot weather conditions for long periods of time, you can get away with a longer change interval. To be on the safe side, I always change the transmission oil every 30,000 miles.

Replacing the manual transmission fluid in your JK is an easy task and only takes some basic hand tools. The tools and materials you will need are:

PRODUCTS
I have the older model. We always try to torque bolts down to spec when possible.
Open drain pans have a large openings which can help keep spilled oil to a minimum.
When it comes to transmissions, we always go with the OEM fluids despite the higher cost.
Can't even explain how valuable these are with any job.
We love these things. Makes pumping that fluid into tight areas a breeze!
